Leaving today

I'm almost done packing up, which is good because I need to leave for the airport around1:30pm.

I've already researched the main bus routes that I'll be using each day. Public transportation in Seattle appears to be cheap, and there are routes going directly to each of the areas I intend to visit.

The hotel I'm going to stay in offers free Wifi and internet connections. I'm debating whether I should take my laptop. Think I'll just leave it at home.

The weather forecast for this week is as follows:
Tuesday - High 49 degrees, 60% chance precipitation
Wednesday - High 49, 30% chance precipitation
Thursday - High 47, 40% chance
Friday - High 47, 70% chance
Saturday - High 47, 40% chance

Itinerary and Preparations

There only five specific places I want to visit in Seattle:

2. Seattle Public Library (Central Location designed by architect Rem Koolhaas)

In addition, there are a couple of coffee shops I discovered online that I would like to visit, Victrola Coffee and Zoka Coffee Roasters. I also plan on visiting a Tully's, a Seattle's Best and the original Starbucks location.

Other than those places, I intend to spend most of the time just wandering around exploring. The only problem will be the travel time to and from my hotel.

I am way behind in preparation. I still need to research the public transportation options and routes available in the areas I will be in. I still need to generate a packing list that includes everything I will need, otherwise I will forget something.

Seattle, WA - November 10

I booked my flight and my hotel to Seattle, WA on priceline.com. I'll be flying out on November 10 in the afternoon, and returning in the afternoon of November 14.

I'm currently working on a sort of rough itinerary for the trip. I don't plan on being too strict on my time management, so the itinerary is just a list of places and things I'd like to see and do while there rather than an exact schedule of events that will occur during the trip.

Also, I'll be drawing up the packing list and gathering together helpful information and resources.

Both the itinerary and the packing list will be posted when completed.
